John Leddo is the founder of MyEdMaster, LLC.

Dr. Leddo is an educational psychologist and holds a Ph.D. from Yale University with over 30 years of professional experience. He has personally worked with thousands of students throughout the course of his career.  After being fortunate enough to receive a full scholarship to attend Phillips Exeter Academy and experiencing the great education he got there, he decided to devote his life to helping all students get the same high-quality education he got.  His personal mission is to help as many students as possible achieve success in life and fulfill their potential. For this reason, he takes a “whole student, whole success” approach when working with them, offering his services at a low price so parents don’t experience financial hardship in order to help their kids.   

Dr. Leddo’s professional career has centered on education and training. He has been awarded millions of dollars in grants to research methods of improving education and has over 60 publications and presentations on diverse topics in education including seven books available on Amazon. He has published curricula in math, science, English, and history that have been used in thousands of classrooms across the country. His scientifically-based teaching methods won praise from the U.S. Department of Education and he helped a New Jersey school district rise from bottom 25% to top performing.

In 2004, Dr. Leddo devoted himself full time to tutoring because he found that he enjoyed working with kids the most.  He served as C2 Education’s Director of Education and Director of Marketing and also worked at MyTJPrep and Academies of Loudoun before founding MyEdMaster in 2009. His students routinely get into top colleges, elite high schools and graduate programs (including medical school).  He has even trained teachers to pass their certification exams. He has helped students increase their SAT scores by hundreds of points. Dr. Leddo has tutored Thomas Jefferson (TJ) High School preparation every year since 2004 and Academy of Science and Academy of Engineering and Technology every year they have been open. He also has immense experience tutoring 1st to 12th grade students to increase their grades in reading, writing, math, science and social studies/history as well as prepared them for placement exams such as the Iowa Algebra Aptitude Test, CogAT, NNAT, and various IQ tests.   

Ms. Sun holds a bachelor’s degree from Peking University and an MBA degree from the
University of Toledo. Having graduated from the top university in China, she pursued the MBA
degree and a successful professional career in US. Ms. Sun knows how import education is to
both students and their families. She is passionate about helping students and families to
achieve their potential for academic and personal growth.

Ms. Sun supports MyEdMaster’s academic services and provides coaching to both the students
and their parents. She believes that MyEdMaster provides what each student needs to get into
their dream school at a very low cost. She believes each student is unique, and MyEdMaster’s
personalized curriculum, testing preparation, extra-curricular activities (not offered by other
centers), and college counseling, provides outstanding solutions to each student. She is looking
forward to working with each student and helping them to get into their dream school and
build a rewarding career.
